
Testwood Water Supply Works investigation report
Following December 2024’s loss of supply incident in the Southampton and New Forest area, we’ve published a report into what happened and how we’re improving our incident response.
A thorough investigation was carried out, and we’ve worked with our teams and listened to feedback from customers and stakeholders, to complete this important report.

Over the next seven years, we’re going to invest a quarter of a billion pounds on improving Testwood Water Treatment Works, with money spent on modern equipment to make the site far more efficient and resilient.
Immediately after the incident, our CEO Lawrence Gosden apologised to everyone affected, and provided details of our compensation package.
