Supply was returned to all customers earlier this afternoon, and our team continue to work on site, carrying out repairs to the split pipe.

Traffic management on Botley Road will remain in place to keep our team safe as they finish the repair work.

All customers on our Priority Service Register have received a delivery of bottled water.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and want to thank our customers for their patience.

Previous updates

All customers are now back in supply and our team are making good progress with repairs.

We are continuing to support those on our Priority Service Register with deliveries of water.

Some customers may notice airlocks in their pipes. This is normal and if running taps does not resolve it then please contact us. As customers see their water return, it’s normal to experience possible discolouration and other changes to the water. This is temporary.

We’re really sorry that customers in the Whiteley, Swanwick and Park Gate area have no water this morning. This is being caused by a burst main which we’re in the process of repairing.

We will be delivering water to all customers today, prioritising those on our Priority Services Register (PSR).  If you are concerned or are a vulnerable customer and need access to bottled water as a priority, please call us on 0330 303 0368 or or sign up on our website.

Tankers are also in the Brindley Road/Bluebell Way area to bring customers there back in to supply this morning.

We're very sorry for the impact this is causing, and we will provide a further update by 2pm.
