As part of our outreach programme, our team of Community Ambassadors support communities on the ground, answering any queries people may have.
Our Ambassadors share their expertise with customers. They give practical advice about how to care for the water network and use water sustainably, how to report leaks or any problems, and how to access bill and customer support.
Our Ambassadors help explain our activities and programmes so that customers feel supported and informed about our services. Last year, we attended more than 36 events across our region and engaged with over 13,000 customers . During these events, we shared tips on how to save water at home, advised on how to keep drains flowing and clear, and how to reduce bills.
We also have our mobile Water for Life hub. This helps us engage with our customers and communities during the weekends and holidays across the whole region.
